Yeah, I haven't touched this site in almost 2 months. So sue me. I'm currently working on other projects, one of which will probably replace this page in the coming weeks. Not that I expect anyone to be reading this, but I felt it might be good to put up one last item here.
So long for now...

Fine, I'll write some more here. More for my own benefit than anyone else's I guess.
Got the official letter and whatnot from RIT today. Still waiting for GW. I hate waiting.
Also starting to get some actual replies from job hunting. Got a one-day roll out job tomorrow afternoon. Maybe something more will come of that. (Please, I don't wanna stand around in that store any more).
OK, enough whining. I wish something more were going on. Need to get out more. More news later as it happens.

Yeah, so things are starting to look up. I've been in contact with a staffing firm that might have some IT work for me. I have been accepted as a transfer to RIT
. And I'm making progress in my attempts to learn how to create and host a real website on my own. w00t I say, w00t.
Unfortunately, there is still a lot of waiting involved. I need to hear from GW, and that whole "getting a better job" thing is still moving slowly. Bleck.
Friday, April 2, 2004 @ 12:15 a.m.
Still nothing happening. Waiting to hear from schools that I applied to for transfer. Waiting to hear something
about any of the jobs I've applied for, or maybe a client I've given my business card to. (I should probably finish the webpage I was working on for that.)
Went to the Acoustic Cafe for Jam Night again. Some great music was played, but not by me. I'm getting a bit better, but so much time away has really hurt my drumming.
I think that I'm going to find another way to put my thoughts on the 'net. It'll probably take a while, but I want to learn how to really develop for the web. Another skillset for my IT career, such as it is.
Not much else to say. Till next time...

Jeez, almost a week since my last post. Oh well, not like anyone reads this anyway (prove me wrong, please?)
Nothing happening lately anyway. My transfer applications are in, still hunting for a better job, still not hearing back from anything. Jon's back on school schedule, so nothing is going on. I think I'm just going to start hanging out at the mall and various cafes. Can't handle sitting around with nothing to do.
Bah. More later. Going to go get coffee or something.
Wednesday, March 24, 2004 @ 11:01 p.m.
Ugg... Crappy day. Fscking cable modem was down all day. Figures, only when I actually need
to get online does it break.
Anyway, interesting things. Our performance at the Acoustic Cafe went pretty well. We messed up a tiny bit, but we got the crowd rockin along with us, which was pretty much the point. Maybe Jon and I will eventually record our little jam to share it with the world. Afterwards we went to the diner to chill with Jon's friends from Hopkins and a few other people we met at the AC. Good times were had by all.
Not much else is happening lately. Still trying to scrounge up more work. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get more IT certifications done, and learn some more sysadmin-type skills. That and improve on my web skills. The obvious benefit to you, the reader, is that this site will have more wonderful content for you to read, and much improved presentation.
That's probably enough for now. Haven't been feeling very talkative lately. More news (or insane ramblings) as it happens.
Monday, March 22, 2004 @ 11:16 p.m.
My brother (who is apparently referring to himself as "thebrohaha" in the comments) and I have made some progress for our so-called song for Open Mic Night. It is beginning to resemble something close to a rockin' groove. I pray that we don't sound like idiots tomorrow.
Nothing terribly important to say, but I want to keep up a rhythm of posting to this thing, or I'll forget about it. Maybe I'll add more later if I feel like it.

Oh sweet sweet cans.
These headphones are cool, and by cool, I mean totally sweet. May they provide many years of rocking out.
Not much to say tonight. Once again, work has bored me to tears. There is nothing else I can say about it, and I wouldn't want to bore anyone else by going into more detail.
Now I have this incredible urge to go make some noise. So I think I will. If my brother doesn't chicken out again I think we are going to bring the funk to the Acoustic Cafe this week. Stay tuned...

Wow, I actually put up another entry. But three updates, nah, never happen ;-).
So, Friday night I get to cover the "Midnight Madness" sale at CompUSA for my job as a Belkin rep. Sure, there was a little rush of people when the store opened at 6:00pm. That was over by 6:30. Then, it was a normal (ie slow) crowd up until 7:00 or 8:00. From then until my shift ended at 11:00, the store was empty. Hooray for wasted time. Oh well, I get paid either way. *mutters... Must find better job...*
Onto other things. I am in the process of acquiring a new set of cans (Quality headphones, if you were confused.) Why, you ask? Because:
- I am all about the precision engineered Sennheiser audio hotness.
- As light and portable as earbuds or wraparound headphones are, they are too wimpy for drumming and studio use
Hopefully I can do some recording in the future, so that I may share my funky beats with the world. Then all shall bow before my drumsticks! Or run screaming, either way...
More later. Be excellent to each other.

Thank you for coming, and welcome to the... how you say?... Ah yes, show.
I finally got off of my ass and overhauled this humble webpage. No more nose-bleed inducing colors. I'll probably be fixing it up some more in the future, adding more links and such. Please leave a comment, or drop me a line via email or IM if you found this place, I'd like to know who my readers are, once I get some that is. I'd also appreciate any feedback on my budding web design talents.
I haven't really come up with a purpose for this site, other than to have a place to say whatever random things happen to be on my mind. Don't really know why, it's not like anyone is actually reading this (yet?).
Went to the Acoustic Cafe with my brother for Jam Night this evening. I'm going to have to show up there more often. Great band starting the show, then they started calling up musicians from the audience to sit in with them. I went in for one piece behind the drum kit. I suppose I did pretty well for having barely touched a drum set since I started college, but I really need to start practicing more. Jon was too chicken to add to the groove on his bass, but he assures me he wants to go rock the place on Open Mic Night next week. On that note, I should probably try to get my kit slightly less out of tune.
I guess that's enough for one night. I'll probably put up more of a proper introduction of myself at some point. Stay tuned for more updates, hopefully I'll have enough to say to make frequent postings here. Until later, take it easy.
